Gipsline TXT Soundproofing Panel
Soundproofing panel, with a thickness of 20 mm, suitable for plasterboard walls, composed of a high-density Soundblock plasterboard board (surface mass: 12 kg/m2), thickness 12.5 mm, paired with a sound-absorbing TXT element.
The TXT product is manufactured using recycled materials and is fully recyclable when the building is taken down. It is made of non woven white fabric, obtained from a mixture of sanitized and sterilized filaments of cotton, linen and wool, glued into sheets with adhesive polypropylene.
The Gipsline TXT soundproofing panel is suitable for improving the airborne sound reduction of existing brick walls, for installation without a metallic frame.
To ensure the best results, we also recommend to install an exposed Soundblock finishing panel, 12.5 mm thick.

INDICATIONS OF INSTALLATION
The GIPSLINE TXT board is fixed with the soft side in contact with the plaster or with the existing brick, making sure that the support is continuous, level and free unevenness.
The fastening takes place by means of gypsum-based glue spread with a notched trowel on the entire surface of the board. We recommend laying a second SOUNDBLOCK board, this too fixed to a GISPLINE TXT board with gypsum-based glue. The package composed as such must be subsequently fixed to the existing wall by means of an appropriate number of percussion anchors with a polypropylene body and a nylon plug. In order to limit the acoustic bridges, it is desirable to use the minimum number of dowels, in relation to the type and quality of the support. Afterwards, the board and the washer of the dowels should be stuccoed and smoothed to obtain a surface ready for painting.
